MUSE 1st Anniversary!!!!

MUSE  1st Anniversary!!!!

Time Flies, Dontcha Know It!
Hooray!!!
I love the MUSE DT and the inspirational Jackie Rockwell!

of being a NEW Muse DT Member!

JOIN IN this week!!!
Hearts galore, what is NOT to love???!!!!

Here is my take on the inspiration card.
I rocked it with some Bo Bunny Family Is paper pad
and the sentiment is from a set
purchased at AMY T's garage sale....
So I am not sure the maker.... DO Yell to me if you know it
 LOL!!!!
Jackie's card has some lovely minimal check in the background
and this red paper would do the trick!
I turned the panel, popped it all up done!
(Ignore how wonky the hearts are, I don't actually have a heart die folks, so
I drew my own cut out and did my best....
I figured the patterned paper would distract from them not being a die.)
---Did it fool ya?!!!  Did it......Well...Hey.

Supplies: Craft's Meow Telegram Set
Lawn Fawn Peace Joy Love (BG Paper)
Bo Bunny Family Is Paper Pad
Memento Tuxedo Black

CASology CUE Card #79: Contrast!

CASology CUE Card #79: Contrast!

WOW, this is going to be an interesting treat!
This week we are all showcasing a CLEAN and SIMPLE card,
and another card that we have made that is NOT CLEAN And Simple.

I currently do CAS and NON CAS, so this isn't that big stretch for me.

I selected my  inspiration from my entry card I just made for the current FESTIVE Friday challenge.
The card I first entered is what I like to call layered and  lavish.

So here are both cards!

CONTRAST

 CAS
Here are the differences that make the card on the right CAS,
and the one on the Left, NON CAS.
- Lots of  OPEN unfilled space.
- MINIMAL embellishments
- ONE Layer cardstock
-Sentiment on SINGLE layer carstock
-EASY to recreate
-QUICK to make

NON CAS:
Here are the differences that make the card on the left NON CAS
-The space is FILLED
- MULTIPLE Layers of cardstock, embellishments and banners
- The embellishments have MULTIPLE layers
- SEVERAL embellishments cover the page
-- The sentiment is LAYERED on a banner atop more LAYERS
-NOT EASY to recreate, several layers and types of embellishments make this a unique card
that would be challenging to recreate
A LONG time would be spent  to try to reproduce several cards made
with as many intricate layers upon layers and so may steps.

And just to give you an idea of how both designs came to be, here is the current Festive Fridays challenge Photo Inspiration:

Have FUN creating, and VISIT each Designer to see how they have a Contrast Card, and the card posted on the CASology Blog!

Sunday Card Club Cards

I am posting on the run this morning, from our Sunday breakfast spot, so I will have to set links later.

Here are my cards done for card club,  I wanted a FUN watercolor, and Joyce M is the one who posted this Ranunculus card in her CAS style.  I added a panel with  AC banner label sentiments to make it an easy fast card for club.

My second card is a mail friendly version of yesterday's card, substituting the Dear Lizzy wood buttons for MME enamel dots, and keeping it flat instead of adding pop up foam for the circle panel.
Have a great day!!!
I will be crafting with others, JOY!!!

Let me know what you will be doing!!!!
