Peacock Stamp Card

I made this last night for an upcoming card class.  This stamp really takes well for the embossing powder effect with copics on top.

This was my first time mixing embossed images with coloring copic markers.  I really thought that the markers would "wipe" off the embossed surface.  Quite the opposite.  The second it was put down and I tried to do a smear effect, it was on for good.
Wow, I like that because when the other ladies will color with the copics, it will not be messy for them.

I just received this NEW Peacock Stamp, and NEW Copic Large Marker set for Christmas!!!
I had a handful of markers, more for lighter coloring really.
This copic set has more of the primary colors, so I had to be bold and make a stained glass look.
The big shot was a NEW gift to me just before Christmas, and I have only used it a few times, and I have a few NEW folders!!

This will be a CREATIVE YEAR!

Closer detail.  I LOVE this stamp and intend to make many cards for on hand Thanks You's, Birthdays or any occasion.

I am entering this into the CASology "NEW" for using so many new things!!
And the Simon Says Stamp Challenge too:

I have added in the Awesome Guest Desinger Challenge for Thank You Cards too.

I have always wanted to do an inchie card. A card that has 3-4 squares composing a picture.
When I found this stamp, I knew that since it was already in sections, to pop it up on inchie mat board squares was the way to go.

Supplies:

Stamp: Impression Obsession Peacock Tiles, Memory Box Thank You
