05.28.2025 Catwalk Cards - With Altenew

I loved the "Runway Inspired" card inspiration challenge by Jen Rzasa.  (2013-2015)

Did you ever join?

Now that I applied for the Certified Educator Program (haven't heard back yetwith Altenew, and since I have a huge collection of their products, I am turning to fashion for some inspiration. I need to step it up, step out of my comfort zone, and create with all the lovely Altenew sets that I have.

(Acceptance or no acceptance)

I love the new relief pastes (did you see the Sea Beryl Blue one?), absolute gorgeousness. Just because of that one, I have bought a ton more stencils.

I have gathered several inspirational images from a handful of fashion designers that really inspire me.

I saw this dress and immediately thought of the Altenew stencil that I already have in my stash.

I also thought I might have some no line stamps as well that would work.

Here are my results:

Altenew Supplies:
Bold Floral Drape Stamp Set (retired)
Altenew Inks:

Using Caribbean Sky, I inked the Mighty Corners Stencil onto a 4x2 white cardstock.  I used a scrap of paper and ran a black alcohol marker to make additional pin stripes.  I only did half since I loved the look.

I stamped the Bold Floral Drape Stamp using Aloe Vera and Berry Cool inks onto a 4x5.25 white cardstock panel.  I also filled in any spots with the center stamp and didn't try to be too careful and overlapped some colors.

I fussy cut the sentiment from the Celebratory Banner Set and popped up with double sided foam tape.

Entering a few challenges as well as my own inspiration:
