Quilt Mother's Day Card:
Fresh Squeezed Stamps Happy Hexagons!
I have been thinking of a special someone that is a quilter.
She is very special!
Fresh Squeezed Happy Hexagons did make me HAPPY!
They took colors so well, and I think they are a fabulous way to play with several ink colors!
''YAY!"
TIP: Most of you already know this, however I will offer it up again:
Immediately after opening clear stamps, mount on a clear stamp base, take a regular pencil eraser and rub on stamp like you are inking it. take you finger and then rub off the residue. The stamp is now primed and the new surface will not "repel" the ink or glob as new polymer stamps can do.
Supplies:
Stamps: Fresh Squeezed Stamps Happy Hexagons!
Inks: Memento: Tangelo, Lilac Posies, Bahama Blue,
Grape Jelly, Ladybug Red, Nautical Blue
Inks: Brilliance: Lime, Mediterranean Blue, Poppy
Close Up:
You can see the difference between the light blue hex that was not primed with an eraser, it has slightly fuzzy edges and the ink is a little blobby. The rest of the hexes are clean and clear with much less bleeding edges.
