All my life I have lived in the Puget Sound Area.
One side of the Sound or the other.
I have ridden a ferry so many times that I still
try to stay romantic about it.
The serene loveliness, the water and to see seals on buoys just
lounging in the afternoon.
This card is about life around here when I see family,
or they see me
a ferry ride away........
To get a better idea about how much water
I live around, here is a map.
I live in Kirkland.
At the top northern edge of Lake Washington.
If you drive South and go directly West .....Seattle is there,
and directly West from
that across the Sound is Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo and Suquamish.
All childhood towns where I have lived.
I love it here.

Wonderful card...love your stunning image.
You must love being surrounded by water. I am a prairie girl - surrounded by farm land for miles and miles... and miles :)
Beautiful card - love the colours.

Very very cool!!! :)
fun image, Kimberly! I love living here in the Puget sound, too... surrounded by the water and the mountains!
I love your ferry boat image Kimberley - a super CAS card. thanks for joining us over at Colour Me...! this week.
Such an awesome ferry stamp...love it!
You just send me back in time almost 20 years when I had the privilege of traveling from Vancouver through Seattle and the Washington peninsula with my parents and a motor home. You live in a beautiful spot – thank you so much for bringing back those memories with the card and the thoughts you shared.
Thank you for playing along with us at Colour Me…! this week!

What a great card and narrative! I love that it means something special - those are the best cards to make :) Thanks for sharing with us at Colour Me...! this week.
Your life, surrounded by water, is so fascinating; something that is ever so remote from where I am, surrounded by mountains, now, and prairie, previously. What a lovely part of the world you live in, and how wonderful that you embrace knowing that! Your card is a reflection of 'you', someone who truly does love where she is...and who she is (and we love you, too!)
