Shaped Card!

I must admit I am in love with this Rainbow Cupcake Card!

 Today I used the same FREE Digital image to make two types of cards.  If you are just getting into digital, STAMPloration offers some FREE Digitals for you to "wet your feet" with.

These cards are more advanced than a beginner digital only if you are not able to re-size or isolate, erase, or "cut & paste" certain portions of a larger image in your current program you use for digital images.

If you are able to make these modifications, it opens you up to combine images as well as detach images from larger digital scenes.

I edited this image to cut and paste just the cupcake and enlarged it to fit a A2 card base size.  I was able to erase the attached lines of the other surrounding images.

I used Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend alcohol markers to color and attached a folded cream cardstock to the back with the card fold an inch below the berry top.  I then trimmed the card leaving about 1/4 inch around the image and left the bottom flat.

For the flat panel card I sized

 the image smaller for ample space for a 

coordinating mat color layer.

I really love the easy way I can print and color.  Less inky mess.

 (I am still inking..just not getting as messy as often!)
