Hope

I have been thinking alot of Scott's family,
 I know,
just PICK UP the PHONE!
I am awkward that way.
Getting the nerve to call.

He has three sisters,
all lovely and brilliant, strong and sweet, funny and wonderful.
We are so lucky to have them.
They have made my husband the wonderful man he is!
Yeah, I give the ladies the credit due!!
And I can't wait to see them at Christmas (!!!)

I like the idea behind this card.
But I really just feel sad when I see it.
I didn't wan't that effect.  I will post it anyway.
Maybe others will not feel sad.  Let me know if you feel strongly about this.

I made the ribbon by inking part of a "6" and part of a "7" on the brushed large alpha stamp set by Rhona Farrer
I actually inked them and stamped them all twice

 Supplies:
Stamps: (small) Studiocalico Alpha,
Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps(ribbon) Brushed Alpha by Rhona Farrer
Inks: Memento Brilliance Pink, Graphite Black
Embellishments: Amuse Creative Candy Pearl Ivory
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug Stitched Border

Absolutely love it! I do not feel sad at all when I see it, just feel the hope intended by the message. I've had to send way too many of these cards to dear friends who have gone through, and SURVIVED, breast cancer and I used the word "hope" somewhere on most of them. I know these cards mean the world to those walking the cancer journey through hell. Well done!!

I think I know what you mean. Although this is a gorgeous card that will bring encouragement to someone who needs it, we wish that they weren't in a position to need the encouragement. At least that's how I look at it. And whoever needs it will be so thankful and happy that you're thinking of them. Love the clean and simple design. Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!

A beautiful card of hope, the ribbon is not sad but a sign of hope. Thank you so much for sharing this week at CASology!

Brilliant use of your stamps. I had the same idea with the word hope, but not with sadness. Though Breast Cancer has affected so many that I care for and love, I continue to HOPE for a cure! Thanks for playing along at CASology this week!
