BE YOU {tiful} - One Layer Simplicity

One Layer Simplicity

Another post to use some of my
Stampin' Up! Products.

One Layer Simplicity has some very
talented ladies on the Design Team.
Check them out, you will be Inspired!

The Design Team:

I used the Flower Patch SU! Sentiment.
(Okay... I need to use the rest of the set too soon!!)

The bloom is Savvystamps.

I LOVE the texture this has..

Supplies:
Savvystamps Brush Flower Head
Stampin' Up! Flower Patch Sentiment
Ranger Seafoam White Embossing Powder
Ranger Tim Holtz Salty OceanDistress Ink
Pilot Black Precision Ultra Fine Rolling Ball Pen
Versamark Dazzle Frost Watermark Embossing Ink
Memento Tuxedo Black
2 inch Square Punch
Copic: HoneyY38

I embossed the bloom in seafoam white and brushed in a sweeping motion my copic honey copic from the center
almost to the end of each petal.
I then used my 2inch punch to make a square frame in black paper and carefully eyed the negative space lining it up with the top of the card to center as best as possible, to use as a stencil.
I then sponged ink inside the made stencil
around the bloom in salty ocean distress ink.
With my black pen I scribbled in the bloom and around the frame and then stamped the sentiment.

Close up of the texture....................

And even closer!!!!..............................

I hope that you are INSPIRED to join in too!!!
This Challenge runs for 23 more days!
Yo have LOTS of time to create a
one layer wonder!!

Thanks for coming by my blog!

i.love.this.
aren't you clever with your scribbley goodness?! Love that.
I'm really loving that technique you've been rockin' with the copic colored heat embossed surfaces.
No cards made today...super crafty lazy for some reason but have been cleaning up a storm.

Gorgeous! Your various techniques (tutorial..hint, hint...) add such richness of colour and texture to your sunflower. And the scribbly bits add such a special touch. Super amazing!
