Well, at least his only child???!! Well, someday I may even get to go for a ride in it!
Mom has asked for Lemon Meringue Pie alot. I try not to spoil her too much, but then again, I surprised her with a pie with rainbow sprinkles and a mini zoo on top! I like dessert to be really fun because I try not to have it around here too much. When we do, I decorate it up with whip cream, sprinkes or little animals, fruit, mini chocolate chips, and serve it in fancy glasses or glass plates. Anything to make it more fun.

The Puget Sound
In order for us to see family we need to take a ferry ride. We either take a ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge Island ot the Seattle to Bremerton run. It was a beautiful ride over there on Saturday. Clear mountain views and sailboats in the light breezes.

Oregon Trip: Multnomah Falls
Once we picked up Scott's "New" Volvo in Scappoose,Oregon, he asked me. -"So, what do you want to do tomorrow?"
When we were test driving I saw a sign that said Multnomah, and I remembered that one of the prettiest waterfalls in my waterfall book was in Oregon. I asked the guy he bought the car from-
-"How far are we from Multnoma Falls?"
-"It is pretty far, it is about an hour away."
I laughed because we drove all day to get this car and an hour was nothing. So later on after we gassed our vehicles and Scott asked me this, my reply was - " Multnomah Falls."
We spent the night in Aloha, Oregon (just close to Beaverton on the edge of Portland) and next morning spent some time at beautiful Multnomah Falls. It took out breath away!

Happy Mother's Day!
Jason & Kimberly, the girls & Addi sent Mom a beautiful card signed by all of them and some music that mom really wanted. She was very delighted to open the gift! She read the card to me and Scott. She wants you all to know this was very special to her to have you write to her and she misses you very much. She likes it when she can sit with you and you really want to sit with Grandma Cricket.

Beaverton Bakery, Elmers Diner, ROCK wood fired pizza! Those were just a few of the attractions! Starring pastel sugar cookies, club sandwich, potroast hash skillet, hawaiian and cajun chicken pizza. Yumm..
