Well, I was DARED to enter a few challenges. Challenge ACCEPTED.  

I have never inked up this Penny Black "Tannenbaum" Tree cling set before, and glad I did.  It gives a very PAINTERLY feel my husband says.  He is totally right.  I think he wants to steal this card.  He gets first right of refusal on ALL of my cards.  I love his enthusiasm in all my card making adventures!

He is such a GEM.  Love him to bits.

11.18.23 Hero Arts Challenge - Thanks for Being a Friend

Well... I am back to the land of the living.  

ALMOST recovered from COVID.  Man, I was almost convinced that this household would never get it... Alas, it hit me HARD.  

No worries, I am BACK at the challenges again.  This time I am playing along with the awesome team of Hero Arts.  The challenge is Thank you for Being a Friend.  

 

I blended Neon Blue ink on the bottom half of a 4 x 5.25 mixed media paper panel.  I stamped the sentiment with my MISTI directly on the panel and the butterfly image on a separate sheet of Neenah Solar White paper with Intense Black ink.  The panel was adhered to a card base with 4.2 x5.25 black cardstock. I fussy cut the butterfly and colored with alcohol markers.  I added double sided foam tape to the butterfly and adhered it to the card.

I have been having a BLAST as a part of the CLCM design team.  

I'm sharing a Honeybee Stamps mashup with a To-Go cup from Close to My Heart.  

This child of the 80's (born in 69) is a fierce lover of all things Coca-Cola.  Coca-Cola Santa, Coca Cola Polar Bears, Wrapping Paper, the Drink.... ALL of it.  I 'm not a collector, just huge fan. The Shiny Red.  Oh Yes!  

This image screamed to me to have him offer up a beverage, so instead of handing out the Coke, its a Holiday LATTE!!!!
