I have no clue how this week stumped me.

I pulled out various papers and stamps and embellishments, etc. that I may want to use for this challenge.

Worked about it in a similar way.

I know it was that I ADORE the large tree image in the bright blue.

I wanted that image, though I do not have a stamp that really fits that. So I think that got to me.

 It finally came together.

Once I started on this it just kept building!

I hope that you are inspired by all the DT cards, 

this really is a talented team, and you players make it

an absolute PLEASURE seeing all that you create and link up to FUSION!

I loved this GLITZY Cue this week!

I have been loving the Heidi Swapp Glitter Stickers so much!

 I have jumped on the bandwagon on the Delicate Gold too!

I colored it in Vibrant colors, then thought it was just too bright!

I went to pitch it and as it turned over I thought, 

HEY  -- I like that!

Ahhhhh YES!  The FREEDOM of the Runway!

Be inspired, RUN with IT!

I watched Project Runway under the GUNN tonight, 

I watch it on Netflix, so I have no idea what night

it really airs... And I will say it was kinda cool.

They designed and were inspired by the movie POMPEII.

Little known fact: Kimberly has climbed Mt Vesuvius and visited Pompeii

Another little known fact: I believe that Italy is an adventure 

that heals your very soul.

Wow, where was I? 

 It was like I started daydreaming of wining the LOTTO or

something...........

Tell me next time when I drift off like that!

What I LOVE about the Runway Challenge, is I really just express myself

and don't really think about it as a challenge, just an expression.

A freedom to use whatever strikes my fancy really, and let the colors just lead me to the results.

Kind of a Tribal feel dontcha think?

CASology CUE Card #84: Paint!

Welcome to CASology!

We are hoping that this week will truly inspire you 

and get the creativity flowing!

By now, you know I LOVE BOLD and am Crazy for Color!

For Paint, I wanted a little different approach

I am smitten with the fade out effect of inking.

I thought of Paint... One of my favorite movies of all time

is High Plains Drifter.  Clint Eastwood western classic

with a twist.  I won't spoil it for you,

I highly recommend it.

So Paint, washes, watercolor, I know,

"Paint the town Red!"

What does PAINT bring to mind for you?

SPRAYPAINT INKING

I inked heavily only the top edges of the stamp and used my Tim Holtz

Inksentials distress ink daubers to lightly bring down the paint.

I hope you like this effect and will try it sometime!

I also stamped one of my new flourishes sets and

used the watercolor Twinkling H2o's

WATERCOLOR

If you want to use a larger stamp, and still keep it CAS, 

try stamping off the page.

I clear embossed the sentiment and some stars

Then washed over with Twinkling H2o's

WATERCOLOR WASH over EMBOSSING

Clear embossing with a watercolor wash has a dreamy effect!

I used a post it to mask off only the sentiment I wanted to emboss.
