Just Because: Altenew Sketchy Floral

Sharing a watercolor card today!

I love the soft watery green and the loose

illustration of the florals.

Altenew has a ever growing selection of florals.

I chose six Spectrum Noir Aqua water color markers and added them to my palette.

Even though the markers are water based, the nibs should not be submersed in water. I've made that mistake. To be on the safe side, I load up my palette and use a clear water brush to apply the color. I then dab in darker more intense colors with the brush with much less water.

PR - Purple

FL - Orchid

FL - Wildflower

Amazing Just the Way You Are : Pinkfresh Studio Background Floral

Happy Friday!

Once I fall for a stamp set, either I wait too long and it sells out, and then once I remember that I wanted it.. for some reason it retires.. Why?!! I have no idea why some stamps retire so quickly.

Especially this one that I feature on my card.

I adore this Pinkfresh Studio Background Floral Stamp. Every time I see it I fall in love again. Sorry.....my friend that I showcased a stamp that may be impossible to find, but Pinkfresh Studio has a few other florals just as lovely.

Graciellie Designs : Watercolor CAS Flutterbys

My weekend is AMAZING...I am recovering from a tonsillectomy and I am much better...Still a burning healing process, but so much better.

I went up to visit my pal Amy T. at her GSALE and also visit with another friend Tonya J. that was selling along side of her. I was meant to be a part of the sale but my recovery left me no time or energy before today to round up all my stuff.

It was good to get out of the house and in some sunshine.

Energized enough for some CAS Spring and Flutterby cards!

Gracielle Designs had a FAB sale a short while ago. And its not that I had to wait for a sale, it was that I wanted ALL of her designs...So the sale made it almost possible.. (giggle...giggle...)
