Kerry's Halloween Decor!!

For Kerry, Halloween is their biggest celebrated holiday.  Her house is decked head to toe with spookiness and scary cuteness.

Cool large haunted house display

 Halloween tree..
And the Card Hall of Fame board... Two of my card are there, the foam raven from the first cards I exchanged with Kerry, and this years Martha Stewart inspired skeleton card

Cookies..

Conrad hard at work making Oatmeal Scotchies.  We cheated and made them from a mix so it wouldn't be an all day cleaning event afterwards.  They were surprisingly good, but scratch is much better.

Oh... can you tell Conrad's favorite color is green??!!
He wanted the green apron, the green oven mitt, and was sporting his green shirt...
Silly.

Scarecrows

I posted before about getting thank "ewes" for scarecrow supplies.  Here is how they turned out.

These are the scarecrows the the Keller Extended Day afternoon class made.  One is inside the office, the mustached one sits just outside the office, and the third is in the Library.

1st ever Seattle Zombie Convention Event

Seattle is hitting the big time with a Seattle Zombie Convention Oct 21-23
Seatac Hilton Hotel
We know two very cool people that get a kick out of going every year to the Seattle Zombie Walk.  We were given some pictures of them all made up in their costumes and it was super hilarious.  Last year they went as a Zombie news reporter and camera man.

Halloween Ghost Cards...

I have the absolute pleasure of going to a craft get together this Saturday.  Everyone that will be there is wonderfully crafty and creative.  I made a card kit for this card.  I hope they like the design and have fun putting it together.

If you think this card is cute, you can make it too:  Each item heading is linked to an online store to get it!

Standard card and envelope size A2:

 - Foam Ghost:
Halloween Foam Stickers - Ghost and Spider Web $1.49  Micheals (Available online @ Micheals.dom search for Halloween Foam Stickers)
- Orange Bat Tag:
Spookville Bat Tag Die Cut by We R Memory Keepers  $.37 -.50

If you dont have envelopes, and do not make your own notecards from cardstock, here is what you can purchase, and there are many colors to choose from by Memory Box for notecards and envelopes to mix and match.  Notecards have white interiors.

Notecards: This project, licorice A2 Notecard
Envelopes: This link is to Two Peas for Mango colored envelopes.  For this project I used Paperzone Orange Cards, however a substitute can be any color envelope that you have size A2, or this mango card by Memory Box.  Hero Arts makes nice cards and notecards, but they are more expensive.
