Retro Modern holiday

Retro Modern holiday

The Gals at Festive Fridays were so welcoming on my first entry, that I made another card to add to the collective.

This is more of a Retro "Twist" than a total fit to the challenge.
I always think that Poinsettia's are old fashioned, they remind me of my great grandmother as I remember her having them around.  She was a keen gardener and always had such magnificent flowers of all kinds.

I have collected a few stamps that I wanted to make a vintage feel card with.

I made this card Retro with a Modern twist.
Retro in the colors of Chartreuse and the Fuscia,
and Modern
in the trending glitz and design layout.

Supplies:
Stamps: Large: AMuse
Smaller flowers: Inkadinkadoo Peppermint Twist Set
Sentiment: Hampton Art
Ink: Memento Lilac Posies, Versamark Magenta, Memento New Sprout
Sequins, Accent Dots

So festive! Great way to go retro but with some trendiness, too.

I am so glad you were inspired to come back and play with us again! I LOVE what you came up with, and how you put a few things together to bring your own twist to the theme. The colours work so well together, and I love the layout on your single layer! Thanks for playing with us again!

She's ba-aaack!!!;) And I'm so glad!! Love the colors you've chosen here, and the bold one layer layout! Those sequins are a nice touch, too! And you can't go wrong with Grandma for inspiration!! Thanks for creating another beauty for us at Festive Friday, Kimberly!!
