Make a Wish Card - NEW Pinterest Inspired Challenge!

Well.....Dontcha Know

I am also a challenge junkie my friends...
ANY excuse to use all of my FABULOUS finds.
Right now I am using my never been  used before
MFT Sentiment Set Brushstroke Birthday.

Love how OVER THE TOP HUGE the sentiments are!

I saw MF Amy Tsuruta is the Guest for the
VERY first Challenge!!!
She is cheeky, (I adore her)
I NEVER know where she will pop up next!

This was VERY fun to make!

Using a round blender tool I blended 2 sheets of Bristol Paper (5x5), one with the Tumbled Glass, and the other Mustard Seed.
I die cut an assortment of Savvy Dies from the Savvy Stamps Dies Flower Blossom Sets 1,2,3 and the Butterfly Set.
On a small portion I inked with a black copic marker for some mini rounded flowers to mimic the round black dots in the inspiration piece.  After arranging them on one side of a piece of folded Neeah cardstock, I carefully affixed them with Tombo liquid glue.
I cut the Alpaca grey and a piece of Neenah paper to 4.25 x5.5, and determining where I wanted the curved stitched edging, die cut and put them in place with creative double sided tape.

For extra layering, I really insist that you use this (Sookwang) doublesided tape it REALLY holds extra layers..A tombo runner will NOT hold for long...Ask me how I know this?!!!
(This is something Julie Ebersole says in classes all the time.. I love it!...I was reminded by it because I bought these Savvy Flower Set dies after taking one of her FABULOUS classes at IMPRESS.)

I have made this design once before and LOVED the look of the cut dies against the stitched edging.

I hope you are staying cool today!

Now it is your turn to get crafty!!!............

Thanks for coming by my blog!
