CASology CUE Card #76: Party!

Happy Christmas Eve to those celebrating!

About now, I am up helping my husband and his mom with the prep work for the celebration this evening.

Karin, Scott's mom, has for over 30 years have celebrated by having a Christmas Eve Party.

Several traditional dishes that are only made on Christmas Eve are enjoyed.

Family comes and presents are exchanged.

It is so FESTIVE!

WOW!!

We have a 2 week party, I mean 2 week challenge this week!!

CASology CUE Card #75: Knit!

Hello everyone.

Keeping warm I hope!

This week's CASology CUE is KNIT

My mother has always been a knitter.

Let's just say that I don't have the knack --or the patience really.

I am a lefty, or a southpaw you can say.

When my mother tried to teach me, she being a right hander, I got all confused, frustrated and at the age of 13, really wanted no more to do with it after that.

I really love that she knits though!

(I have the cutest hats!)

So I have a few stamps with her in mind.

This card making session was a family affair!

Conrad and I stamped

this knit poinsettia with several ink colors on paper

and my mom selected the best color combinations.

I designed a few cards and Conrad made a few design of his own.

I will have to say,

I really think his designs are great!

"No, any color you want." I replied.

He showed my husband too.

"These look like Aunt Kim made them, huh uncle Scott."

He smiled and said "They look terrific!!!"

Sketch it Saturday - Unscripted Sketch#235

Another Card for Kyleigh!

If you have been following me, or are visiting me for the first time,

I have made a goal to send more cards OUT (!!)

Great concept right !!??!!

One of the ways I have found is to make a feature to every so often, about every 8 weeks or so,

to send a card out to my lovely sweet 13 yr old niece Kyleigh.

This gives me an excuse to make something

I am a snow baby.
This card is literally me as a kid.

There are more pictures of me eating snow or in the snow than any other as a toddler.

Seriously crazy.. I should look for them..Ahh I found a few oldies..

These are going to be great
