Neat and Tangled: October Release Day 1:

Super excited to be joining the AWESOME
 Neat and Tangled Design Team
and showcasing some FABULOUS Holiday Stamp Sets
for the

October Release Week!
---Check out the Blog for a chance to win sets for yourself!!!!!!

The First Stamp set is:

Falling Snowflakes

All is Calm All is Bright.....................
Supplies:
Neat & Tangled  Falling Snowflakes Stamp
Neat & Tangled Winter Wishes Stamp Set: Sentiment
Versamark Watermark Embossing Ink,
Recollections Snow Embossing Powder,
Tsukineko Dew Drop Versamagic Chalk Inks:
Night Sky, Ocean Depth, Sea Breeze
Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
Imagine Crafts Goosebumps Glimmer Texture Spray
Clear Snap Sugar Shimmer Fairy Dust Glitter
Neenah Solar White 110lb Cardstock
Sakura Quickie Glue Pen
Glitter Washi Tape
Wedge Sponge

Now here is how I made the snowflakes shine!

I embossed this stamp side by side and then versamarked the entire
bottom ot the card!  Once I added the embossing powder, I took a brush and brushed some off for a fresh snow drift look ... and so I would have some open white on the card to catch some sponged color.  I sponged some Tsukineko Versamagic inks darkest to lightest and drug the color for a streaked look.  If you look closely at the top edge I have used Imagine Crafts Tsukineko  for a cool frozen rain and textured effect.  Silver glitter washi tape along the bottom. Added the awesome Winter Wishes sentiment!

Here is the next cool set!

Winter Wishes

From our Home to Yours.......(watercolor)...........

Supplies:
Neat & Tangled Winter Wishes Stamp Set
140lb Watercolor Paper
Tsukineko Dew Drop Versamagic Sea Breeze
Tsukineko Dew Drop Brilliance Rocket Red
Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Double Sided Foam Squares
Tombo Glue Tape Runner
Soft Gray DP Cardstock
Copic Sand

Now here is how I made a Whimsical Village!

I brushed water in a puddle swishing it around the middle of the watercolor paper panel.  Using the large house stamp I loaded it with ink and plunged it down not being careful of the appearance, repeating until I have most of the card filled.  I added the smaller home in rocket red and then with a sand copic marker added a path of  "muddy foot prints in the "snow."  A hand trimmed banner was added "popped up" on foam squares and centered. The sentiment "From our Home to Yours" is the perfect touch!

From our Home to Yours.......(vellum)...........

Supplies:
Neat & Tangled  Winter Wishes Stamp Set
Neenah Solar White 110lb Cardstock
Tsukineko Dew Drop Versamagic Sea Breeze
Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
Tombo Glue Tape Runner
Double Sided Foam Squares
Signo Uniball White Gel Pen
Vellum Paper

Now here is how I made the Vellum Card!

I wanted to replicate a really neat designer paper that I love.  I cut a panel for the card front and sponged with Sea Breeze ink. Once dry I added lines across the paper vertically and horizontally with the white gel pen, smearing every so often.  I stamped the large image on the stamp set side by side across the card and then layered with vellum slightly larger than the panel. I added the hand cut banner placing at the bottom right of the panel.  I sure hope that you envision a glance out of a winter window too...

More to come tomorrow!!!!
SUPER thanks Danielle for letting me join in the Release week!
