Today I am sharing the same image
TWO WAYS.
The Coffee and Roses Digital Stamps set
 --(PLUS Bonus tags!!)
I hope you have been enjoying our hops so far!

Colorful 4x4 Card:
For the first card I made a 4 x 4 square card
coloring the images with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Alcohol Markers.  The Reds, Oranges and Corals really blend well.  I left harsher edges as I really wanted to see dark red then corals in the roses.

I added a touch of blue in the greenery and left the background white adding a blue matting layer
to carry on the blues.

I was going to keep it a note card theme
...but I could
not resist the clear stickers....
I think they added the perfect balance.

I added Wink of Stella Clear to just the coffee.....added sweetness!

Monochromatic Background Only Card:

On the next card I really wanted to highlight the background to make the foreground really stand out.  I used the Tan Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend and did a freestyle water "spill"in the lightest color.
I outlined the image in the darkest tan and radiated outward darkest to lightest.
I added a few darker areas to really look like it was a coffee spill and some seeped thru the paper more deeply than in other areas.
I think it was successful and also made the image "pop"
I hope you try this technique as well!

Very nifty and handy Clear Stickers were used as sentiments.  I applied the clear stickers to white cardstock, trimmed it and then added with a glue pen to coordinating cardstock to match the card bases or matting layer, and then
added mini pop up squares to adhere.
Cannot get any easier sentiments!

Stunning pieces of art. I love this image. You've colored the roses so perfectly! And I love them not colored with the yummy BG (especially since I don't color much myself). Great inspiration!
