Small Things - Curtain Retro Sketch!
This was a bear of a card.
I managed to do the top layer of the heart lattice fine
and transfer and adhere it to the folder
cardstock without dropping out any pieces.
Next, piecing a puzzle of bits of paper how I wanted,
well it was more challenging than I thought.
Since I don't have a stitched square mat from Lil' Inkers,
I only have the stitched rectangles so I have one side
"unstitched."
My main frustration was lighting.
This card picked up yellows and somehow just would not photograph very well.
So today, as the light was fading I remembered that I might just be
able to get an ok shot outside.
So here is my best attempt.
Supplies:
Memory Box Lattice Heart Die
Lil Inkers Stiched Rectangles
Stampin Up! Label Punch
Paper Crate DP Papers [Maggie Holmes]
SavvyStamps Sentiment
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black
Studio Calico Wooden Heart
Uniball Signo White Gel Pen, Ranger Tropical Tangerine Stickles

Happy Crafting!
For having such a tough time with this card you wouldn't know it. Great job.
Lovely card...I'm especially fond of "quilt" looking cards...you've done a great job with the technique!
This turned out so clever!
Glad you fought the bear and won - totally worth it! The card is gorgeous (so is the scenery in the background!)
Kim, this is just so beautiful. Oh my-- I just love it. Are you going to Amy's on 3/8?? Happy belated Valentines!
Your creation is BEAUTIFUL! Love the idea of a "small quilt" as your main image .... the designer paper colors you chose are just lovely!
I love this card, Kimberly! So perfect!
Small quilt, beautiful papers, eye-catching embossing, the perfectly placed special touch heart...sighhhh. I. love. this. Photographing your card outside reinforces how stunning it is; I'm reminded of pretty quilts hanging from my grandma's clothesline, drying in the breeze. Happy sighhh...Yes, stunning...Hugs~c
This is such a pretty card, Kimberly! I love the lattice heart background and how you paper pieced/quilted your square panel...and that charming little sparkly heart ~ Sheer Perfection!

Kim this turned out great! I love the whole thing!
Very pretty Kimberly. Love the patchwork style panel with the greeting. The die-cut background is awesome! Thank you for playing along with us at the Curtain Call.
